Why Are Barney and Lily Making Out on How I Met Your Mother?

No, Lily (Alyson Hannigan) is not leaving Marshall (Jason Segel). However, TVGuide.com has learned, How I Met Your Mother DVD fans will be treated to not one, but two, different looks at what married life would be like for Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Lily.

In the Nov. 2 episode, "Bagpipes," Barney and Robin (Cobie Smulders) are on a high, bragging about how they're the perfect couple and don't fight. Marshall and Lily, on the other hand, have a few stereotypical marital problems. Their main squabble is over Lily forcing Marshall to do the dishes.

How I Met Your Mother DVD

Being his normal arrogant self, Barney describes to Marshall two different scenarios, How I Met Your Mother DVD Box Setwhich are depicted on the show, in which Barney and Lily are married, with Barney laying down the law on not having to clean. That's when the pair shares their kiss.
