The second war against the Cylons is over and The Twelve Colonies have been destroyed. This is not your basic shoot them up and the good guy's win science fiction tv show. It is about a band of survivors from a horrific war that destroyed their entire civilization. They are forced to flee from an enemy that destroyed 13 planets in a sneak attack and killed billion's of people. The X Files On DVD Once the survivors start to flee you have an interesting look into how humanity deals with a disaster. You have the only surviving military vessel constantly defending the last of the civilian population, only to constantly but heads with the remaining member of the presidential cabinet, who has been promoted to president.Battlestar Galactica You have the constant fears of who did it, how was it done, and who really is the enemy! Doctor who DVD Box set You have infighting, paranoia, aggression, and the like. A wonderful story about how humanity survives based upon a sci-fi angle. A story with strong writting and even better visuals. A show that will cross over normal TV show boundaries and appeal to numerous people.
