'MACBECKS'
CASTING INFORMATION
Show Description
The story is a take on David and Victoria Beckham, whose media profile remains very high, and the broad comedy approach of MACBECKS is aimed at a large populist audience. It takes place in a pseudo-Shakespearean world, loosely mirroring elements of their lives, but is essentially a fantastical and satirical romp.

Audition Requirements
Short comic piece for any Shakespeare play - actors may be required to do their Shakespeare piece (or segments thereof) in a few different accents
Song of own choice, which highlights vocal skills and range
There will be a dance call later in the audition process

CHARACTER SKETCHES for MACBECKS
MACBECKS is an ensemble show, where actors will be expected to play several different roles. There is a very strong emphasis being placed on the importance of each person having an ability to act, sing and dance to a high standard, with an outstanding ability in one of these areas. All characters need good dance ability - styles of dance include Tango, Tap dancing and Acrobatic skills and people with any extraordinary physical footballing skills and including any circus ability.
GINGER WITCH (early – mid 30s)
Strong Voice and ability to cover other roles
SCARY WITCH (early 30s)
Strong Voice and ability to cover other roles
GLOBEOWNER (early – late 30s)
Producer
Good character actor who must sing and dance well
VINNY JONES (early – mid 40s)
Strong, streetwise East End boy, who would kill you with one look
Double up with the role of COUNT HANSEN (based on the football pundit Alan Hansen) – Scottish accent
Other named parts to be decided
2 NEVILLES – GARY AND PHIL NEVILLE (Late 20s – early 30s)
Conjoined Twins – 2 actors who can sing and move very well
Both parts will cover several other roles including a Spanish Character
